BWCX Physical Plant ~ 2019 |
Description: |
BWCX. Here is an aerial-drone image taken by Lance R. Myers during 2019. Pictured here are what used to be the grounds of the Berwind-White Railroad Car Shops. It looked a lot different in 1964 than it does now: the New Frame Shop is still there, but all of the original wooden shops and the big grassy field are long gone. Even the railroad car storage tracks are empty! A portion of Scotch Valley Road is visible at the left. Photo credit: Lance R. Myers, AltoonaWorks.Info (FaceBook Group). |
