Prominent here is Pennsylvania-Reading Seashore Lines engine #2001, a GP38 built by GM-EMD in December of 1967 and rated at 2,000 horsepower. Description:  Blackhawk. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide via Fred Byerly that was taken in Camden, New Jersey, on 11 April 1968. Photo Caption: "DS 4-4-1000, Pennsylvania No. 7952. Camden, N.J. April 11, 1967." Penn Central #7952 is a DS 4-4-1000 built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works as Pennsylvania Railroad number "5552" in February of 1950, rated at 1,000 horsepower, and renumbered "7952" in preparation for the PRR-NYC merger. This photo comes from a color slide set entitled "Baldwins in Action ~ On North-Eastern Railroads" that's produced and distributed by Blackhawk Films of Davenport, Iowa (892-13).
