Description:
WIL-ALT-65. Here is an original photo that I took while riding in a Pennsylvania Railroad passenger train from Harrisburg to Altoona on 28 March 1965. Shown here is PRR engine #8479, an AS-16MS built by the American Locomotive Company in 1952 and rated at 1,600 horsepower. It is shifting some freight cars just West of the Harrisburg Passenger Station and will soon pass under the Market Street Bridge.
