Title:  "Trains" Magazine, November 1950
Description:  Here is a photo taken by Mr. H. Cotterell, Jr. It was published originally in the November 1950 issue of "Trains" magazine, page 58. Photo Caption: "PRR rubber-tired, storage-battery switcher at Jersey City." Mr. Cotterell's Commentary: "No. 14379 is one of two rubber-tired, storage-battery locomotives used by the Pennsylvania Railroad for switching freight cars through the streets of the Paulus Hook section of Jersey City between the famous Colgate soap plant and docks located sourth of the Pennsy Station at Exchange Place. Each is steered by means of a large pilot wheel, similar to that on a boat."
