Title:
PRR 2204, EF-22, c. 1963
Description:
Chione. Herre is a duplicate 35mm color slide via Al Chione. Shown here (L to R) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #2204, #2522, and another unit whose road number is not recorded. #2204 is an EF-22 built by GM-EMD in March of 1963 and rated at 2,250 horsepower, while #2522 is a GF-25 built by General Electric in October of 1962 and rated at 2,500 horsepower. Looks to me like they're stopped, perhaps awaiting a signal to "Proceed." Meantime, wave to the Crewmen! The photographer's name, the exact date, and the location are not recorded.
