"Railroad" Magazine, July 1968
Title:  "Railroad" Magazine, July 1968
Description:  Here is a photo that was published originally in the July 1968 issue of "Railroad" magazine, page 31. Partial Caption: "Brightest hope of U.S. passenger service ~ new swift trains to operate on Pennsy rails over Northeast Corridor route in Department of Transportation program ~ is not yet realizable, due to technical difficulties. Here is a Budd-built, multiple-unit, high-speed, electric car which, along with other modern equipment, will eventually be used on these runs." This Penn Central "Metroliner" car still bears a Pennsylvania Railroad keystone! The photographer's name, the date, and the location are not recorded.
