Album Info:Here are several photos of Washington Terminal Company action by Mr. Douglas C. Jones that were taken in and about the Ivy City Yard in Washington, D.C., circa 1953. All of these images come from negatives that I purchased in eBay auctions conducted by Mr. Jeffrey K. Frangione during June and July of 2021. Also included are: (A) three photos that Mr. Jones took took in nearby Seabrook, Maryland; as well as (B), a B&W photo of one of the Pennsy's K-5 "Pacific" steam locomotives.

Prominent here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #5699, a K-5 (4-6-2) "Pacific" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works during March of 1929 and retired in September of 1953 after 24 years of service.
