Album Info:Here is a one-page editorial by Mr. James Plomer entitled "Requiem For The Pennsylvania." It was published originally in the October 1973 issue of "Trains" magazine, page 58. "There is no room for nostalgia. There is the need to regret that such ethics and enormous abilities are gone. These were the qualities one admired so much. Now the same sickness has spread higher. The costs are beyond measure. Whatever these may be, one's heart aches for that onetime magnificent railroad. The Pennsylvania once proved what the nation could achieve, and what even yet lies within the power of the American people."
