Album Info:Here are the front cover and a three-page cover article entitled "Computers, Dynamics, and Air Brakes Among Safety Features on Speed Runs." They were published originally in the November 1967 issue of "Mutual" magazine, pages 3-5. No author is specified. "Mr. [Allen J.] Greenough said the high-speed train engineman will use a single control handle to dial the speed at which the train is to run and computer-controlled electronic devices will call for power or braking to maintain that speed. Each [Budd-built] car will be self-propelled electrically, and linked together with a continuous loop control circuit from the first car." (Page 3)
